Indications for use: Restorative material for the treatment of dental caries.
Contraindications for use: Do not use in people with mercury allergies.
Allows for: A gamma-2 phase-free alloy superior to any other due to its high strength, excellent polishability, and ease of handling. The mercury to alloy ratio varies between 1/0.86 and 1/0.96, depending on the size and curing time.
Ex: 46.2% to 49.5% by weight of mercury.
The compressive strength of Permite after 24 hours is 500 MPa, and the dimensional change during hardening is +0.04%.
