Low Form Boron Glass Beaker (Griffin)
Description:
Cylindrical containers with a flat bottom, a spout on the top edge for pouring liquids, and a graduated (imprecise) scale on the side for measuring. Used for reactions between solutions, dissolving solid substances, performing precipitation reactions, and heating liquids. Beakers are made of boron 3.3 glass, have permanent graduations, and can be classified into two types: Berzelius beakers (tall beakers) and Griffin beakers (short beakers). They can withstand temperatures from -18°C to 500°C.
