BIOPLIC must be applied pure in the properly prepared cavity, without the need for acid conditioning or dentin adhesive.

BIOPLIC is a resinous material, composed of dimethacrylate groups, organic filler, silicon dioxide, sodium fluoride and catalysts, which after activation by visible light (photopolymerization device), hardens, acquiring a rubbery consistency, used to temporarily seal cavities.

When used as a temporary restorative material, after light-curing, it absorbs water from saliva and undergoes slight expansion, creating negative pressure on the cavity wall, ensuring effective sealing. It seals access to the cavity, protecting exposed dentinal tubules or the root canal entrance, preventing the passage of fluids, bacteria, and toxins.

When used to temporarily seal the screw on the implant, its action consists of forming a mechanical barrier isolating the screw from contact with fluids in the oral cavity.

When used as an occlusal sculpture matrix, its action is plastic and modeling, due to the characteristics of the product.
It contains fluoride in its composition, providing prophylactic action against cavities.
(Sodium fluoride = 0.52% fluoride ions).

The product's exposure time to the light of the photopolymerization device (single exposure) is 40 seconds.
It is compatible with composite resin restorations as it does not contain Eugenol.

The recommended length of time for the product to remain in the patient as a temporary restorative is up to 30 days. In cases of temporary sealing of the screw on the implant, replace it every 30 days.
