Natural Thermal Bag

The Natural Thermal Bag is produced with the seed of the juçara palm and organic cotton, aiming to reduce the negative impacts of production processes, encourage agroecology through the acquisition of organic cotton and foster a network of cooperative arrangements responsible for the management and supply of the seed.

Indication:

Warm

• Reduction of tension and muscle pain: back pain (lumbago, cervicalgia), sciatica, stiff neck and contractures;
• Relief from colic (in babies, menstrual and abdominal);
• Treatment of joint and muscle injuries in the chronic phase: degenerative joint processes (osteoarthritis); sprains; muscle strains and bruises; tendonitis, bursitis and other chronic inflammatory processes;
• Relief from headache caused by muscle tension in the cervical region (Tension Headache);
• Decreased stiffness in joints after periods of immobilization;
• Relaxation and body warming, generating comfort and well-being.

Cold

• Reduction in muscle pain (resulting from trauma, bruises, blows);
• Relief from acute pain (toothache, migraine) and fever;
• Reduction of edema and mild bruising;
• Relief from insect bites;
• Reduction of dark circles and facial swelling;
• Relaxation and rest for the eye area (especially for contact lens users and those who work a lot in front of the computer);

How to heat the bag

• In the microwave oven:
  When placing the bag, make sure it is not touching any of the side walls of the microwave. It should be heated in 1 minute and 30 seconds at a power level between 600 and 800 W.
• In the electric oven:
  When placing the bag, make sure that it does not have direct contact with the oven walls and grills and that the gilding is turned off. Heat for 20 minutes at a temperature of 100ºC.
  Because it is a natural product, you may notice a characteristic odor of the juçara palm kernel when heating the bag.

How to cool the bag

To protect from moisture, wrap the bag in plastic or an insulating container and place it in the freezer for 3 hours.

How to apply for your scholarship

• After cooling or heating, check that the temperature is comfortable to the touch, spread the seeds well and, if necessary, wait a few minutes before applying to the desired area;
• Apply for approximately 20 minutes or as directed by your healthcare professional;
• The bag can be secured using a band, scarf or fabric.

Care and Conservation:

Washing instructions

The bag consists of an outer cover and filling.

• Cleaning the outer cover: when necessary, remove the filling and wash only the cover with water and mild soap and let it dry in the shade.
• Cleaning the padding: When necessary, clean the surface with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the padding in water and remember to expose it to sunlight to dry.

Regarding both the cover and the filling, avoid using chemical products to better preserve your bag.
