Sorensen FG - Kg Conical Toothed Carbide Drill Bit: The toothed surface provides greater cutting power. They have the same suggested uses as smooth conical drill bits.
Used to determine expulsive walls and eventually produce cuspal reduction in cavities for indirect restorations (inlay and onlay).
The 699 drill is especially indicated for creating additional retention channels in cavities for amalgam and cast metal restorations.
