Manual Fawler bed with elevation 3 movement cranks (back, leg and elevation) , total dimensions 1.95m x 0.95m x 0.42m (L x W x H) minimum height 0.42m and maximum height 0.59m, 6 positions, being fawler, semi-fawler, sitting, flexion, cardio, horizontal elevation, bed in 1.5mm steel plate, removable injected polyurethane headboard and standard tubular rails on both sides of the bed (104cm x 29cm), 3-inch casters (02 with brakes and 02 without brakes) being diagonal brake, steel frame with electrostatic epoxy powder paint finish, capacity up to 160kg.

ATTENTION: Mattress not included (consult our sales team if necessary). We recommend a hospital mattress with a waterproof cover and a maximum height of 12cm, taking into account the height of the side protection rail.

Indication:

Indicated for use in hospitals, clinics and also at home, in the treatment of pre- or post-surgical patients, for people with special needs such as the elderly and paraplegics.

Function of the positions used in hospital beds:

• Cardiac position: Helps reduce venous blood return in the lower limbs, increasing return in the upper limbs and improving the ventilation and perfusion ratio.
  
• Sitting position: Used in patients who need to improve ventilatory efficiency.
  
• Fowler and semi-Fowler positions: These are the most useful, being used for various purposes, such as reducing shortness of breath, draining the lungs, recovering from abdominal surgeries, preventing aspiration of fluids and secretions, in patients with reduced levels of consciousness and among countless other cases.
  
• Flexion position: Only the legs are flexed, helping with venous and lymphatic drainage of the lower limbs.
  
• Bed Elevation: Allows the bed to move up and down, making it easier to place, remove and handle the patient on the bed.
