Improved Dual Neubauer Chamber

They are used to count cells or other particles in suspension, under a microscope.

• Sample readings are taken using a counting network (quadrants) located at the central base of the chambers.
• The chamber depth is 0.1 mm. In the microscopic image, at the lowest magnification, nine large areas of 1 mm² are visible.
• The four large angular areas (L) are subdivided into 16 areas measuring 0.25 mm on each side. They are used for leukocyte counting.
• The large central area is subdivided into 25 square groups of 0.2 mm on each side.
  
• Each group consists of 16 mini-areas with 0.05 mm sides, each area being 0.0025 mm². The 5 groups marked (E) are used for erythrocyte counting.
• It is observed that all areas have a triple border on each side.
• The center line is the boundary and determines whether a cell should be included in the count or not.

Differential (Improved Double):

• Made of special optical glass;
• The counting grid is directly engraved on the glass;
• Includes two slides, individually packaged in a plastic box;
