Foam Cervical Collar

Indication:

Maintains the cervical spine in a neutral position, providing partial immobilization to assist people in the treatment of trauma, acute pain conditions (cervicalgia, torticollis), and post-operative care.

It has an anatomical shape and hook-and-loop closure adjustment, which provide comfort and security during use, in addition to containing a removable terry cloth cover, which facilitates cleaning. It is known as a Night Collar, as it helps stabilize the cervical spine in a resting position during sleep. It is also indicated after removal of a rigid collar.

To determine the correct size, measure the height of the neck:

• Size S: 8 cm;
• Size M: 10 cm;
• Size L: 12 cm
• Length of the piece: 57 cm;

How to Use:

Position the central curve of the collar under the chin. Wrap the collar around the neck, adjusting the hook-and-loop fastener at the end.

Composition:

• Fabric: 100% cotton
  
• Inner foam: 100% Polyurethane

Care and Conservation:

• The use of this product should always be guided by a specialist;
• If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor;
• Do not overtighten to avoid impeding blood circulation;
• Avoid use on injured or wounded skin;
• Any use other than those mentioned in this package, including post-surgical use, should follow the guidance of a healthcare professional;
• Only the cover can be washed, removing the foam through the zippered opening;
• Hand wash with mild soap in water up to 40ºC;
• Do not machine wash or dry;
• Do not use chlorinated products or solvents to remove stains;
• Dry in the shade, vertically, without wringing;
• Do not iron, nor use steaming or steam treatment;
• Do not dry clean;
• When washing, keep the hook-and-loop fasteners joined or covered to avoid damaging the product.
