Missner Calcium and Silver Alginate Dressing can be used in the treatment of infected or non-infected wounds where there is an increased risk of infection under the medical supervision of a healthcare professional. It is composed of a high content of calcium alginate, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and ionic silver complex (Silver Carbonate), which releases silver ions in the presence of liquid in the wound.

Indication:

Indicated for use with moderate to high exudation and cavities with partial or deep thicknesses:

• Pressure ulcers;
  
• Venous and arterial ulcers;
  
• Diabetic ulcers;
  
• Cavity wounds;
  
• Lacerations;
  
• Skin abrasions;
  
• Graft and donor sites;
  
• Postoperative surgical wounds;
  
• Superficial and partial thickness burns.
