M-TEC Absorbent Sacral Foam Dressing with Silicone Edges maintains a moist environment to aid the healing process of moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

The outer layer of the dressing is a low-friction, waterproof polyurethane film that provides a bacterial barrier. The perforated silicone gel contact layer allows for the absorption of wound exudate and prevents excess fluid from causing maceration of healthy skin. The perforated layer also protects the wound bed from adhering to the dressing, preventing the formation of granulation tissue in the foam pores, thus reducing trauma during dressing removal.
