Sterilair

Sterilair is a device that treats allergies by sanitizing the environment of the main allergen-causing agents: dust mites, mold, and other microorganisms. Dust mites are considered the main cause of respiratory allergies in humans.

Operation:

The heart of the device is a ceramic block of refractory material with tiny holes. The air inside these holes is electrically heated by nickel-chromium filaments (resistors). This heat generates the convection effect (hot air rises and cold air sinks), which causes air to circulate continuously and naturally through the holes in the ceramic block. There are no moving parts.

This air, laden with bacteria, microorganisms, and fungi, passing through the heated holes will then be completely sterilized. After some time, all the air in the environment will be sterilized of bacteria, microorganisms, and fungal spores.
Sterilair eliminates dust mites by eliminating fungi, which are essential to the mites' biological cycle. The mite's organism requires fungi to digest its food.
