Description:

Suture thread is of the absorbable type, of animal origin, sterile, composed of purified connective tissue (mainly collagen) or the fibrous submucosal layer of the bovine intestine.

Chromated catgut contains a solution of chromic salts to delay absorption and is dyed with pyrogallol.

Chromated catgut is packaged in a softening solution of 89.5% isopropyl alcohol (PA), 1.0% diethanolamine (PA), 0.25% sodium benzoate (USP pharmaceutical grade) and sterile water for injection (QSP) 100%.

The product meets the specifications established by ABNT NBR 13904.
