Absorbable Chromic Catgut Suture Thread Ag-1/2C-15mm - Technofio is an absorbable, sterile suture of animal origin, composed of purified connective tissue (mainly collagen) or the fibrous submucosal layer of bovine intestines.

Chromic catgut contains a solution of chromic salts in order to retard absorption, and is dyed with pyrogallol.

Chromic catgut is packaged in a softening solution of 89.5% isopropyl alcohol (PA), 1.0% diethanolamine (PA), 0.25% sodium benzoate (USP pharmaceutical grade) and sterile water for injection q.s.p. 100%.

The product meets the specifications established by the ABNT NBR 13904 standard.
