Description:

Kolpofix cell fixative features a specially developed formula for fixing cell smears to slides. It's easy to apply and meets the technical specifications of professionals in the field. It comes in an aluminum bottle and is dispensed in an aerosol format.

Instructions for use:

Spray the fixative at least 20 cm away from the glass slide to coat the cells with a strong, soluble film that protects and preserves cell morphology for microscopic examination. Allow to dry for about 3 minutes before storing the slide in the slide holder.

• Flammable product;
• Do not spray near fire;
• Do not drill;
• Do not incinerate;
• Do not expose to sunlight or temperatures above 50ºC;
• The solution is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only on clean, dry, degreased slides;
• The disposal of material and packaging must be carried out in accordance with the biosafety criteria adopted by the service in accordance with Health Surveillance regulations;
• In case of accidental contact with skin, mucous membranes and eyes, wash thoroughly with running water and seek medical attention if irritation occurs;
• There are no known contraindications.
