Formocresol is made up of a mixture of cresols and formaldehyde, acting as a fixative for living pulps, keeping them inert and enabling the preservation of the deciduous tooth until its physiological fall (pulpotomy);
It is a powerful antimicrobial agent that also has the ability to neutralize toxins present in the root canal.

Indication:
Antimicrobial agent for endodontic treatment of deciduous teeth and in some specific cases of permanent teeth.
