Collimated and Uniform Light Beam
A non-collimated LED photoactivation light source results in decreasing photoactivation energy with the depth of the restoration. The non-collimated LED light source dissipates rapidly, offering very little energy for photoactivation of deep restorations.
The collimated beam provides uniformity of photoactivation at all depths. This ensures efficient and predictable photoactivation for all restorations.

Optimized Heat Management
Heat dissipation is critical for all photoactivation light sources. Increased heat generation will reduce performance and shorten the lifespan of the light source. It includes heat dissipation technology. This technology protects the LED light source from damaging heat. By remaining cool, it allows for continuous consecutive photoactivations without the need for mandatory cooling. This feature extends the lifespan of the light source.

Lightweight and Ergonomic
The ergonomic and lightweight design minimizes fatigue and maximizes comfort. The light source weighs only 144g / 5.1oz. Suitable for handling in a pen or pistol grip, the lightweight light source minimizes hand and arm fatigue. The recess for finger placement also provides ergonomic support when photoactivating the upper or lower quadrants.

Smart Battery
Simply dock it into its charging station for convenient, continuous charging. There's no need to unscrew or remove the batteries for separate charging. The charging station will light up green to indicate a full charge.

Long-lasting battery
It does not require frequent recharging between uses. When fully charged, it provides 1,200 photoactivations of 10 seconds each.

Sensitivity Protection Ramp
During the first 5 seconds, the light source output power will gradually increase. This "soft-start" polymerization minimizes stresses at the restoration-enamel/dentin interface and reduces marginal gaps in the restoration. This protects the integrity of your restorations and reduces postoperative sensitivity.

Coupled Radiometer
It has an integrated radiometer to confirm the power output of the light source. This radiometer is calibrated for the collimated light from the Radii-Cal CX lens.

Ideal Light Wavelength Spectrum
The LED light source targets light emission at a key wavelength between 440-480nm, which maximizes the activation of materials with camphorquinone-based photoinitiators. This ensures efficient photoactivation of restorations.

Replacement of the Pointer Lens
The protective lenses on the tip can be easily unscrewed and replaced. Other light sources come without replaceable protective lenses and require the entire device to be replaced.
