Description:
The Flex Pack is a mechanical gutta-percha condenser, also known as McSpadden. Made from nickel-titanium (NiTi) alloy, it provides safe, fast, and highly efficient obturation of lateral canals. When rotated within the canals, it heats the gutta-percha through friction, enhancing three-dimensional compaction due to the inverted helix design.
It is recommended for use in other obturation techniques. In the Tagger technique, a lateral condensation mixture is created, resulting in a dense obturation of the main duct. Another option is to use condensers in the Repack phase, which refills the duct quickly and without bubbles. It can be used in electric or air-driven motors.
