Features:

Composition: Made of resin-free synthetic fibers in a shell shape and covered with an electrostatically treated microfiber filter media protected by a non-woven fabric. This piece incorporates two elastic straps, a nose clip, and a foam strip.

Color: White.

Performance:

This respirator falls into category D.1 b) filtering half-face piece (PFF2) for protection of the respiratory tract against dust, mist and fumes.

Respirator according to standard NBR 13698 (1) for Filtering Half Face Piece.

Indication for Use:

• Indicated for protecting the respiratory tract of healthcare workers against exposure to biological agents that cause tuberculosis, rubella, SARS, chickenpox, measles, H1N1 and H5N1 flu, etc. and certain aerosols in the particle size range of 0.1 to 10 microns (mean aerodynamic diameter) or larger, including those generated by electrocautery, laser surgery and other electrical medical instruments.
• Respiratory protection during procedures involving the risk of blood and other potentially contagious bodily fluids being splashed. In these cases, the use of other safety equipment is recommended.
• This respirator offers EFB - Bacteriological Filtration Efficiency > 99% and resistance to the penetration of blood and other body fluids.
• Only for use against water-based solid and liquid aerosols, dusts, mists and fumes in maintenance areas.
