Made of resin-free synthetic fibers in a cup shape and covered by an electrostatically treated microfiber filter medium protected by non-woven fabric. This piece incorporates two elastic straps, an adjustable nose clip, and a foam strip.

This respirator falls into category D.1 b) filtering half-mask (PFF2) for respiratory protection against dusts, mists, and fumes.

Usage Indication:

• Indicated for respiratory protection of healthcare workers against exposure to biological agents causing tuberculosis, rubella, ARDS/SARS, chickenpox, measles, H1N1 and H5N1 influenza, etc., and certain airborne particles in a size range of 0.1 to 10 microns (mean aerodynamic diameter) or larger, including those generated by electrocautery, laser surgery, among other electrical medical instruments.
• Respiratory protection in procedures with risk of blood splashes among other potentially contagious bodily fluids. In this case, the use of other safety equipment is recommended.
• This respirator offers BFE - Bacterial Filtration Efficiency > 99% and resistance to penetration of blood and other bodily fluids.
• Only for use against solid and liquid water-based aerosols, dusts, mists, and fumes, in maintenance areas.
