Composition: The PFF2-S Respirator Mask with Valve CA 10578 - KSN is made of four layers: an outer layer of synthetic polypropylene fiber; a middle layer of structural synthetic fiber; a filtering layer of synthetic fiber with electrostatic treatment; and an inner layer of synthetic fiber for facial contact. It has elastic head straps to support the facepiece and a metal strip for adjustment over the nasal septum.

This respirator falls into category D.1 b) filtering half mask (PFF2) for respiratory protection against dusts, mists, and fumes.

Respirator in accordance with NBR 13698 (1) for Filtering Half Masks.

Intended Use:

• Indicated for respiratory protection against dusts, mists, and metallic or plastic fumes, such as: asbestos*, silica**, coal, aluminum ore, iron ore, textile fibers, refined cement, lime, talc, caustic soda, powdered soap, vegetable dusts, sanding and grinding dusts, among others.
• For use only against solid aerosols and water-based liquids.
• Must be used with the knowledge and approval of the Occupational Health, Safety, and Medicine departments or the company responsible. It is for personal and non-transferable use.

* If the aerosol contains asbestos (up to 2 fibers/cm³), below the exposure limit, at least a PFF2 half mask must be used.
** If the aerosol contains crystalline silica, at least a PFF2 half mask should be selected, if the Minimum Required Protection Factor (MRPF) is less than 10.
