Description:
The Mercur Wrist Orthosis with Thumb Splint was developed to provide protection and stability to the wrist and thumb region. Ideal for sports or work that requires hand effort, it provides support and aids in the prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries caused by repetitive strain. The splint reinforces the thumb protection and can be removed. Adjustable in size, it provides the desired compression and can be used on either the right or left hand.

Indication:

• Prevention and treatment of RSI/WMSDs.
  
• Mild wrist conditions, especially during sports.
  
• Joint protection and stabilization.
  
• Prevention and treatment of sprains, tendonitis and moderate tenosynovitis.
  
• Prevention of “De Quervain” Syndrome.
  
• Pain relief.
  
• Reduction and prevention of muscle fatigue caused by exhausting work hours.

Differentials:

• Made of Neoprene, which retains body heat, relieves pain and provides stability for the wrist and thumb.
  
• Can be used with or without a splint.
  
• Indicated for the prevention and treatment of tendonitis, RSI/WRMD.
