Temporary Restorative Material

ZINC OXIDE is used as a temporary restorative agent; cavity lining agent; temporary or permanent cementing agent; root canal filling agent or as a surgical cement.

The pH of zinc oxide and eugenol is practically neutral, tending toward slight alkalinity, making it less irritating than other cements. Studies have shown that marginal leakage is minimal, with excellent adaptation after inclusion in the cavity.
