Description:
Camphorated Paramonochlorophenol is a colorless or light yellow liquid with a characteristic camphor aroma. It possesses the antiseptic properties of phenol and chlorine and has a broad antibacterial spectrum, also being effective against fungi. Camphor, in addition to serving as a vehicle, reduces the irritant action of the phenolic derivative, resulting in a substance with low aggressiveness to living tissue at the indicated concentration. Used as an antiseptic and analgesic, it is also employed as an intracanal medication (indwelling dressing), volatile (gas that spreads within the canal), short-term treatment, and does not harm living tissue.

Indication:
Indicated as an intracanal medication, it has a nonspecific bactericidal action, that is, it destroys a wide spectrum of microorganisms.
