Invicta Diamond Bur, Conical with Rounded End, FG - American, its main use is to achieve expulsively divergent walls and rounded angles in cavities for porcelain or indirect composite inlay and onlay. They allow for the reduction of occlusal, buccal, and lingual surfaces in onlay cavities with protection of cusps ending in a tapered chamfer. Another indication is for creating orientation grooves and reducing the buccal surface in preparations for aesthetic veneers. The rounded end allows, in these cases, the creation of chamfered and rounded shoulder cavity margins. Larger diameter burs allow for tooth reshaping and occlusal adjustment. These burs are suitable for preparations for indirect metal-free restorations (ceramic and ceromer).
