Children's Upholstered Stabilizing Sling

The Velpeau Stabilizing Padded Sling for Children in size XS is recommended when immobilization of the shoulder, arm, and forearm is required. It can be used on either the right or left arm. Made of durable, washable material, the sling can be easily and safely put on or taken off once adjusted.

Observation:

To choose the right size, measure from the elbow to the tip of the little finger. The wrist should be fully supported to avoid deformities:

Children's Size: 20 to 25 cm - 3 to 6 years old.
Size PP: 25 to 30 cm - 6 to 10 years old.

Indications:

• Stabilization of the upper limb (shoulder, arm and forearm), limiting movement in the 3 joints (shoulder, elbow and wrist) in cases of:
• Severe shoulder instabilities (traumatic);
• Bruises;
• Dislocations;
• Stable fractures of the upper limb;
• Postoperative use;
• Support of the plaster cast.
