Varnal - Cavity Varnish
VARNAL is a cavity varnish used to aid in lining and protecting the dentin-pulp complex. When VARNAL is applied to the cavity preparation, the solvent evaporates, leaving a thin resinous film on the surface. This thin film acts as a semipermeable membrane, preventing the passage of some ions.
It is crucial to achieve uniform and continuous coverage across all surfaces of the cavity preparation. If the layer is uneven or has pores, the result will be unsatisfactory.
