BIOPHAT - Fluoride Varnish

BIOPHAT is a product containing sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride, indicated for application to areas of demineralization on teeth.
The vehicle used is based on natural resins, offering the advantages of ease of use and the characteristic of being highly adhesive to the enamel surface, allowing it to remain in the mouth for a longer period of time.

The presence of two sources of fluoride gives the product a rapid initial action (exercised by sodium fluoride) and a slower but more profound action (exercised by calcium fluoride).

In regions of hyperesthetic dentin, BIOPHAT will act, obliterating the light of the dentinal canaliculi, not allowing the passage of external stimuli that cause the painful sensation.

Concentration of fluoride present in the product:

Sodium Fluoride 6% = 2.71% fluoride ions.
Calcium Fluoride 6% = 2.92% fluoride ions.

Advantages:

• It has two sources of fluoride: fast-acting sodium fluoride and late-acting calcium fluoride;
• Highly adhesive to the enamel surface, allowing it to remain in the mouth for a longer period of time.
• Low solubility;
• Does not run from the place where it was applied;
